In front of Union Station, artist Francesco Perilli's 'Monument to Multiculturalism' has been a fixture on Front Street since its unveiling in 1985. With the station now in the midst of a full-scale revitalization, the sculpture's Beaux-Arts style backdrop of a grand colonnade has been replaced with that of the flame-retardant material which now covers much of the building's exterior.  Today's Photo of the Day comes to us from Forum member 'Goldie', showing the familiar statue standing against an unfamiliar backdrop.
