The Financial District has seen quite the transformation in the last few years, and in today's Throwback Thursday we can see some major changes have gone down in Canada's financial capital in only a few short years. In the Summer of 2008, construction was well underway for the long awaited Bay Adelaide Centre West. The photo below, taken June 8, 2008, shows Bay Adelaide West's central concrete core rising from its structural steel shell below.

Throwback Thursday: The Growing View From The Eaton Centre

Fast forward to March 2nd, 2014, and the completed Bay Adelaide West is getting a new neighbour; the 44-storey Bay-Adelaide East's two yellow cranes can be seen in the centre of the image below.  We can also see the nearly complete L Tower topped off in the distance.
