Spring has indeed sprung, but the deep freeze continues to punish. While our interconnected Financial District may as well exist in a climate controlled bubble, that same conglomeration of heating systems keeping the district's office towers and PATH tunnels comfortable creates a hypnotic display of steam rising and dancing from the peaks of skyscrapers. Today's Photo of the Day comes from Forum member Empty Quarter, who brings us a view of the Financial District's condensation trails on a cold, windy night - conditions we have hopefully almost seen the last of.
