The burgeoning Humber Bay Shores community has become one of the city's most sought after areas for new condo residents. One of the largest projects bringing homeowners to the shores of Lake Ontario is Onni Group's Westlake development. The new four tower project promises to bring the first designed urban-village to the growing south Etobicoke area.

Construction on-site has seen stready progress and is now rising well above ground level. At the base of the new condo community will sit a variety of shops, cafes, banks and other services, all anchored by a Metro grocery store, and all to meet the demands of the growing community. The new streetscape designed by Ferris + Associates Inc. will incorporate parking along a tree lined and green-median separated boulevard with wide sidewalks to encourage pedestrian and storefront activity.

Once completed the four-tower complex will reach 39, 45, 46 and 48 storeys high bringing over 1,300 new residents to the area. Also included in the complex will be penthouse suites on the upper levels and townhouse units in the large podiums.

Nestled in beside the mouth of the Mimico Creek and with the expansive Humber Bay parklands across the street, green space will be plentiful providing a retreat from the congested urban life for residents of the Page + Steele / IBI Group designed project.

Construction on the first three towers is scheduled to wrap up in 2015 with sales on the final tower, Westlake Encore, currently underway. With prices ranging from as low as $229,900 Encore trys to offer something for everyone in the project's grand finale.
