A beach lover's dream residence is arriving in Toronto's east end. Rising at the corner of Queen and Rainsford will be One Rainsford, a mid-rise development from The Riedel Group. This six-storey condominium is located in The Beach neighborhood, just a short walk to Woodbine Beach, Pool, and Park to the south. The residence is also within walking distance of countless shops and restaurants along Queen Street East in both Leslieville and The Beaches retail strips. The residence features twenty-eight units, all which have sold out.

The Riedel Group hired Robert Mitchell of Mitchell and Associates, a long time Beach resident, to make sure the vision of One Rainsford was realized. The goal in mind was to create a sophisticated and elegant residence, and to respect the pedestrian streetscape and ideals of the neighborhood. Thanks to UrbanToronto forum member anonymous0024, photos of the new development show One Rainsford's exterior is nearing completion. Stone cladding and floor to ceiling glass will accentuate the upper floors, while charcoal clay brick will surround the retail base along Queen Street.

Now for sale just to the east of One Rainsford, the second phase of the project, Two Hundred The Beach, will stand on the corner of Queen and Woodbine. It will add an additional twenty-eight residences starting from 506 to 1,689 square feet of apartment space. Move in for One Rainsford will begin in 2013, and more information on Two Hundred will be announced soon.
