One of the first developers to single out King East as an up-and-coming district was Streetcar; while they've now become known for developments further west, they continue to add to the community of Corktown. This weekend will see the launch of yet another phase of their successful Corktown District development, with 10 custom lofthouses coming to market.

The lofthouses will be located in 510 King Street East, just west of the intersection of King and Queen. The open-concept units will feature ceilings up to 16 feet high, and will range in size from 850 to 1,500 square feet. Residents will enjoy an array of building amenities, including a fitness studio, party room, media lounge, games room and outdoor terrace.

The lofthouses feature designs by Seven Haus, with the building designed by Quadrangle Architects. The lofthouses will be part of a growing community Streetcar is developing in Corktown, a project that includes the already-built 52 Sumach Street, as well as 549 and 569 King Street East. The open house will be held this Saturday and Sunday (July 14 and 15) at Streetcar's sales centre, located at 510 King Street East, between 2-4 PM.
