Tao Boutique Condos celebrated its official opening this past weekend with a colourful celebration invoking the building's zen-themed qualities. Built by SigNature Communities, the development is one of the newer competitors on the Richmond Hill scene, and is offering unique amenities and incentives in hopes of drawing potential purchasers a few blocks over from busy Yonge Street.

Designed by Graziani and Corazza Architects, the seven-storey building will contain a variety of units ranging from 500 to 1800 square feet. Tao is situated on Bayview Avenue, providing quick access to both the 404 and 407, appealing to commuters heading downtown. While close to the highways, Tao is even closer to natural parkland, backing onto German Mills Creek, a tributary of the Don River.

Tao's impressed us not only through its interesting design features but also through a unique marketing method; SigNature sent UrbanToronto a pop-up model that included QR codes, which through using the Daqri App allowed us (or you, through a realtor!) to check out the various amenities in "3-D."
