With the lights of the city radiating out like veins, the city appears at its most alive. Lacking the spectacular scenery of cities like Vancouver, we rely on man-made geography to compliment our natural environment. This view shows that process at work with the surge of construction that has transformed our downtown. Recent high profile developments that can be seen here include the Ritz-Carlton, RBC Dexia, Festival Tower and the Shangri-La. With the pace of construction showing little sign of slowing down, we can expect even more change in the years to come.
