A new condominium development from SigNature Communities is launching next month, and we have a great high-resolution rendering as well as project information to share with you. Located north of the city in Richmond Hill, TAO Condominiums is SigNature's first development in the area, having previously built communities in Maple, Muskoka and Florida.

Designed by Toronto-based architects Graziani and Corraza, the project will rise seven storeys and contain 170 units. Units range from 500-square-foot one-bedrooms to 1800-square-foot two-storey suites, as well as 1250-square-foot three bedrooms. Amenities will include a gym, party room, private dining room, entertainment centre and pet spa, as well as extensive landscaped gardens taking advantage of TAO's location on the edge of German Mills Creek, a tributary of the Don River that bisects Richmond Hill, Markham and Toronto.

A core design tenant is the creation of a serene environment, the architects being guided by Feng Shui master Paul Ng in the building and unit/amenity layout. For those looking for more of an upbeat environment however, Yonge Street is minutes away, and commuting to the city is easy with quick access to nearby highways.

SigNature Communities prides itself on sustainable projects and green living, with all units containing energy star appliances, programmable climate control and low water consumption fixtures, as well as bicycle storage to encourage alternative forms of transportation. We've just listed the dataBase page for the project, and will update it as we receive more renderings and information for the project. In the meantime, let us know what you think below or in the project's Forum page here.
