Pinnacle International has launched sales at its second Mississauga project, Uptown, at the corner of Hurontario Street and Eglinton Avenue, with the first of two towers to be known as 'Crystal'. The 28-storey west tower will soon be joined by a 24-storey east tower, and followed eventually by 9 more towers and several dozen townhomes, all bordering a 15-acre park on the 36-acre site.
We'll take a tour around the presentation centre and recap some moments from the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Anson Kwok, Sales and Marketing Manager for Pinnacle International, hosted the event.
Bonnie Crombie, Mississauga Cuty Councillor for Ward 5 cut the ribbon along with Pinnacle International President Michael De Cotiis, and Grace Kwok, marketing consultant for Pinnacle International and Vice-President of Anson Realty Ltd.
Two scale models are featured at the presentation centre; a detailed model of the first building, along with this model showing the two Crystal buildings in the context of the whole development. The view below looks west across the site.
The east-facing view below emphasizes the leter phases of the development running to the west of Hurontario Street.
The view below from the southwest looks across the 15 acres of parkland that will be dedicated to the City of Mississauga on the site. Crossing over the Cooksville Creek we see the site of the future townhomes. The Crystal towers rise to the back right, along Eglinton Avenue.
A larger scale model shows the first of the two E.I. Richmond Architects-designed Crystal condominium towers in detail.
The view above is from the south, while the view below looks west. The second tower will adjoin the podium to the right of the indoor pool, seen through the windows below.

Two model suites kitted-out by Tanner Hill Assocates are found in the presentation centre, and we have photos from the 926 square foot two-bedroom 'Residence 4'. The corner suite features an airy living-room/dining-room/kitchen combo, with another 100 square feet of balcony on the exterior. The light-filled living area is seen from four angles below.
The master bedroom in this suite features a window-wall into the master bath; a feature found typically only in chic boutique hotels.
