If you've seen our earlier coverage of Curated Properties' Edition Richmond, or gone through UrbanToronto's dataBase page for it (linked below), it's not a stretch to believe that your imagination was caught by it. The townhome condominium project is a unique stacked design by AUDAXarchitecture, and with its rooftop skygardens integrated into its façades, it has attracted the interest of many. The interiors by Cecconi Simone are equally intriguing. A recent party at the showroom to launch the development highlighted both the project and the funky neighbourhood around it.

Edition Richmond's showroom is a former auto repair garage, now whitewashed by Ceconni Simone and set up in gallery style, and ironically Richmond Street suddenly has what could a fantastic looking club which it will be a pity to lose! Designs for the units here though means that something pretty special is on its way for this site. A major feature of the units are lightwells - openings in the roof - which will bring daylight streaming down into the backs of the units, providing natural light to living rooms, and to bathrooms on the second floor of suites: glass walled showers line the lightwells, and the model suite at the showroom has to be seen to really appreciate what a cool set-up this is. Elsewhere, the attention to detail from both AUDAX and Ceconni Simone means that much is built-in, a hand-built quality will pervade the units, and fans of modern clean lines with luxurious touches will feel very at home here.

If you love poring through cool presentation centres, then you shouldn't miss the chance to see this place for yourself this coming weekend during the public launch. Edition Richmond is open in both Satudray the 24th and Sunday the 25th from noon until 5 pm, and you will be able to be amongst the first to see the enticing suites and enjoy the gallery-like centre itself, and of course snap up a suite if everything clicks!
