Concord Adex, the developer behind Concord CityPlace, as well as Park Place, has sent us some new photos of the development of Parade that show the much-anticipated towers taking their place in the burgeoning CityPlace community. Let's take a quick look and see how development is progressing.

Designed by Kohn Pederson Fox Architects, Parade consists of the two towers seen below; the circular tower will eventually be connected to the rectangular one by a dramatic two-storey glass bridge. You can see the vacant space left open where the connection will soon be made.

Besides the easily recognizable towers, Parade also includes two shorter mid-rises that will take advantage of the southern views over the eight-hectare Douglas Coupland-designed Canoe Landing Park. The image below shows the Park View Residences on the western edge of the site, followed by an image of the Podium Collection on the northwest corner.

Connecting Parade to Front Street is the highly-anticipated and nearly complete Puente de Luz Bridge. Providing much-needed pedestrian access to the growing Concord CitypPace community, Chilean artist Francisco Gazitua designed the bridge — you can see it in the lower left side of the image below.

As the exterior construction nears completion, work on the interiors is well underway. We'll leave you with a sneak peak of the lobby and its undulating wood paneling. For more information, check out the project DataBase listings below, and keep an eye out on the project's Forum page for photo updates as construction progresses.
