We did a construction tour of fabulous new Living Shangri-La Toronto yesterday. One photo of the tour can be found here with a full report coming shortly. In the meanwhile we decided to go with a different shot of Shangri-La for today's Photo Of The Day. Taken by UrbanToronto Forum member androiduk, it shows the view of the 66 storey tower from Avenue Road and St. Clair.

What an amazing view terminus the tower makes from this vantage point. 

Developed by Westbank Corp and designed by James Cheng and Hariri Pontarini Architects, the hotel and condo is located at 180 University Avenue and is planned to be completed in 2012.
