Construction work is quickly reaching to the top at Trump International Hotel & Tower Toronto. As we see in today's Photo Of The Day, taken by UrbanToronto forum member nicetommy, work is now being done on the last floor of the three level penthouse that occupies the top of the 57 storey tower.

The two areas where the building sets back are the balconies for the penthouse. The rebar extending up from the corner of the building will be the third floor. It is the area with the quarter onion dome as seen in this close up rendering of the top. Note this is an older rendering that doesn't show the setback for the balcony.

Here's what the full building will look like when completed.

Once the dome is completed the mast will be added and, at that point, the second tallest building in Canada will have officially topped off.

Developed by Talon International, the hotel and condo was designed by Zeidler Partnership Architects. Much more here
