Yonge and Sheppard is going to be a fun place for UrbanToronto over the next few years as construction on two of our favourite complexes takes place across the street from each other. On the west side of Yonge we are going to have Emerald Park condos, 42 and 32 storey towers above a retail podium that are being developed by Bazis International, Metropia and Pure Plaza. On the east side we are going to have the Hullmark Centre, a 49 and 35 storey complex featuring residential, retail and office uses. Here, in this photo by UrbanToronto member jivey80, we see construction progress at Hullmark.
Second basement level is being worked on at this portion of the building with one crane up at the time this photo was taken (a second crane went up on Saturday). The area being worked on in the photo is the basement area of the space show directly below the 2 Anndale Drive Condominium Residences in this rendering of the future amenity spaces.
Developed by Tridel, the design is by Kirkor Architects with interior designs by Mike Niven Interior Design and SGH Design Partners. Many more photos here.
