Two new east end projects popped up on our radar this weekend. While we have little info on both, new renderings mean we should get the discussions started. First up is 303 Lofts condos. Developed by Zen Homes, this 6 storey 50 unit condo is going to be located at 303 Kingston Road.
A neat feature of the design is the cascading glass facade. This was done to minimize solar heat gain in response to the fact that Kingston road is at a non-grid angle in this location.
The second project is located at 39 Connaught Avenue just south of Queen Street East. Developed by Rosebrook Homes, this new 4 storey condo is tucked in mid-block on an existing residential street.
These two projects have a connection beyond the fact they are both located in the east end. The strong modern designs of both are the work of Toronto's Raw Design.
