Cladding, including a mix of windows, spandrel, and brick, is now being installed to form the exterior of 400 Wellington West, a 12-storey condominium development by DesignSorbara currently under construction west of Downtown Toronto. The architecture of the building, by Stone McGuire Vogt, or SMV Architects, melds modern minimalism into the district's brick industrial aesthetic to achieve a sensitive insertion that will animate and revitalize the street.

UrbanToronto members Red Mars and Jasonzed recently took their cameras to the site to update us on the progress... and it is looking very promising.
