Today's Photo Of The Day presents a view of the Flatiron Building that has long been obscured by other buildings. Taken by Urban Toronto forum member Jasonzed, this view has only been made possible due to the demolition of buildings in advance of the construction of the new The Berczy condos.

The photo shows most of the block has already come down with the southernmost building partially removed. While heritage worthy, it was deemed too structurally deficient to retain. Brick is being reclaimed from it to be used in the podium of the 13-storey condo.

Here's the former occupants of the corner.

Here's a rendering of the future condominium.

Developed by Vancouver based Concert Properties, the project was designed by the IBI Group. Looking to buy here? Well too late as the project is 100% fully sold out.
