Today's Photo Of The Day continues our week long spotlight of forum member Jasonzed's trip to the CN Tower. Here we see a set of red box cars as they travel the CP Rails' North Toronto Sub (top right of photo).

Actually we are obviously highlighting the impressive growth that has taken place in the north end of downtown over the last decade. A wave of buildings has remade the area and more are coming. Rail is actually going to be an important element here. Sooner or later new subway lines will be needed downtown as increases in density will eventually cause the Bloor and Yonge subway lines to hit capacity. In the meanwhile let's continue to watch as the area continues rising.
