Exciting times if you are a fan of the new Shangri-La hotel and condos. This week we hit another milestone as the first of the slanted glass begins to be installed on the building's faceted east facade. Photos by forum member khristopher shows glass on the far right that will slant as it rises upward.

Again at the far right you can see the first of the glass that is slanting. Imagine it spreading wider as it rises up the floors above.

We believe this going to be one unique building once completed. Developed by Vancouver based Westbank Corp, the 65-storey building was designed by Vancouver's James Cheng in partnership with Toronto based Hariri Pontarini Architects.
