St. James Cathedral's parish house is almost completely gutted as work continues on its major rehabilitation and expansion. At one point the plan was to tear the entire structure down and sell part of the land for condos to pay for the work. Instead air rights were sold to Context Development. Those air rights were used on their Spire Condo across the street.
