The south side of Richmond Street between Peter Street and just east of Spadina has probably never had a proper sidewalk. That is until now. Here we see it under construction.

The photo was taken on December 2nd, a day after Rob Ford was officially sworn in as the new Mayor of Toronto. So was this sidewalk the final battle of the war on the car? We rather doubt it.
