We know times are tough when Scotia Plaza uses duct tape to hold its together. We'll let nicetommy, the forum member that took these pictures, explain:

For the last couple of months there's been this green thing stuck on one of the west side windows near the top of the Scotia Plaza. Looking at it from a distance, I thought it looked somewhat like a vaccuum cleaner, or maybe an ad of some sorts.

Anyways, I took a zoom shot when I was downtown a few weeks ago, and it looks like duct tape and 2 other items have been taped over what I'm assuming is a cracked window pane. It's been like this for at least 2 months.

Duct tape holding together the glass on the second tallest building in Canada and the headquarters to Canada's third largest bank? Someone have a really bad day trading derivatives? As for the two months the window has been like this we have to assume they are having trouble matching the glass. Anybody know the full story because we'd love to know!
