Construction on Freed Developments' new 650 King Street West is well underway. The 16 and 10 storey project wraps around the north east corner of Bathurst and King. The Core Architects designed condo is another in a string of Peter Freed developed projects that are dominating the area. Will the area be renamed Freedville someday? The steel tubes holding up the north wall are there, according to a source, because they could not obtain a tie-back agreement with the property owner to the north. Apparently that resulted in $300,000 in additional construction costs. Ouch!

Here's what the completed building should look like when completed. Sexy!
