If you are riding the TTC during TIFF, you might want to check out the subway stations screens, as they will be showing TUFF, the Toronto Urban Film Festival. The 80 finalists will run silently for one-minute each from September 10th to 17th, ten each day, and should keep you amused while waiting for the next subway train. TUFF's filmmakers will also be hoping that you will go online to vote for their film. All films are already online for your consideration. On September 18th the audience favourites will run, and then on the 19th the Winners of this year's awards will run. Finally, Monday the 20th the winning films will run again.
