Today we took in the Canadian National Exhibition. After countless rides and plenty of junk food we found ourselves at Ontario Place. Here's the downtown skyline as viewed from Ontario Place. This view has certainly changed significantly in recent years.

After taking this shot we took a tour of the pods that make up the most interesting part of the park. There has been talk recently of replacing the original complex in order to help boost attendance. As we wandered the complex we realized why attendance has lagged. There's virtually nothing to do. In fact some of the pods are actually closed to the public. We quickly realized the problem is not the buildings themselves but the programming. Put something interesting in the pods and attendance will take care of itself.
