UrbanToronto members androiduk and dt_toronto_geek have been photographing Maple Leaf Gardens' makeover into a Loblaw and a Ryerson rink and athletic facility over the last month, both outside, and when luck permits, inside through open doors. The project is due to be substantially complete in a mere 6 months as a requirement of the $20 Million dollar grant from the federal government's infrastructure stimulus fund. The deadline is tight, but the project is on schedule.

Android caught these photos on August 13th looking southwest from Church and Wood, and across the interior space.

On September 15th Android took this photo of the Wood Street facade and the Church Street facade. The former focuses on the spot where Android believes another loading door is being cut into the facade, while the latter hints at the number of workers currently employed in renewing the brick exterior.
