Work begins on the renovation of Cadillac Fairview's Eaton Centre. The country's largest mall by sales is getting a $120 million dollar upgrade. Changes include new floor tiles, expansion of the north food court with the south food court being replaced by one large restaurant, better overall lighting and the substitution of glass for the current metal guardrails. Apparently the complex employs a full time painter whose job is to keep the current rails nice and white.
