The King Edward's long closed Crystal Ballroom during the recent Doors Open 2010. Closed because it does meet fire code, this is a gem of a room that we hope gets reborn someday soon. The historic building recently changed hands and is now owned by King Edward Realty Inc., whose partners include Dundee Realty, Skyline International, Serruya Realty, and Alex Shnaider. The team is renovating floors 3-5 into luxury condominiums. Let's hope they then turn their attention to the top floor. You can read more about the King Edward Condo plans here.
