Here's a shot of downtown Toronto from 1932. Taken from the newly opened Canada Life Building it shows a downtown with barely a handful of taller buildings.

Today's Commerce Court North dominates the skyline from the top centre. The building to the right is the old Toronto Star building which was torn down in the 1970's when First Canadian Place was built. Osgoode Hall still dominates the bottom left corner while the bottom centre today is the Four Seasons Centre.
