Spaces (former WE Charity HQs, 345 Queen St E, TriAxis, 3s, Kohn Partnership)

I'm really glad this projet is happening, but I would really have liked street level retail for this area, which can be pretty bleak.

Today. From my partner.

Seems like an opening of sorts, by the presence of employees seemingly working/setting up on the second floor. And balloons just inside the front entrance. Balloons are always a good sign.

(tough to take shots of this building without the Shoppers logo sneaking in). ;-)

The lovely lighting is very prominent here. Taken last evening with another smoky sunset.

For some reason they’ve borded up some of the windows on the north side and drywalled the inside, so it appears to be permanent.

No self-respecting building owner/manager would permanently clad a building like that in painted plywood. There's probably a plan to do something else, but it won't happen for a few months/seasons.

That corner of the building looked like some vehicle had smashed into it when I passed by a few weeks ago.

The black plywood seen in ProjectEnd’s photo above is gone. It’s now back to being a window.
