I got a perspective from the Teamway on Monday.

Some of it has migrated to the renovated parts. To be honest it doesn't really look that out of place.

I would be all for them installing plexiglass "ports" in the hoarding so the public can watch what is happening as the Bay concourse is demolished and underpinned (dug down). Can you imagine how this would captivate people!?!

Use a switchable glass in the port. Normal, it would be opaque. Deposit a toonie, it goes clear for a minute.
Make some money from the curious.

I like switch glass. Actually I love switch glass, however, it may not best best suited to this application. Also, I fear the idea of monetizing this opportunity. Something along the lines of turning the station into a carnival and all that... but... If it is toonies that get me my view-ports; I guess I am all for it. :)

Switch glass for a temporary window to the construction zone might be a little too much to ask for. I would settle for monthly updates from the city with photos and maps.

Keep in mind that switch glass is quite expensive. Not just the glass itself, but the leads and wiring work that is also required.

Looking south from the Bay Concourse temporary passageway near the TTC at the door in the hoarding. It seems like this door is going to get a lot of access as the Union janitors are currently using it to access the loading docks via a fenced in corridor that runs to the Blue Route, where a ramp passes over the excavation and drops a level into the new-and-complete loading docks. The new loading docks are under the south end of the York Concourse, and are joined into the ACC/Telus House ramps for truck access. (Sidebar; This is where the enlightened City of Toronto security guy tried to stop me from taking pictures yesterday... again I reiterate... "Small-minded.")

Keep in mind this is the progress in only 4 days! I believe Bondfield was given possession on Monday, September 14, 2015. (Can anybody confirm?)
