I agree. It's clever and witty, and not offensive at all. Some people have too much time on their hands.

It could've been "God is in the details" but would have been a lot to live up to.

I'm hearing *unconfirmed* rumours in the neighbourhood that this project might be going bust and subcontractors aren't getting paid. Work seems to have slowed down. Anyone know?

Seems like work has completely stopped now, and I've heard from a few different locals that it's a money issue.

This is really unfortunate, especially being left in this half-finished state.

I walked by there yesterday on the way to the pedestrian overpass over the tracks & railpath. Looks like it hasn't changed much since I was last there, about a month ago. Not good. Lots of boarded-up voids and no real structural changes since my last visit. A shame; I was really excited about the prospects for this conversion.

I go past there most days. My understanding is that the contractor went bust, and the owner is seeking a new contractor to finish the build.

Most tools, scaffolding, etc. removed from the site weeks ago. They still have on-site security, and I've been past a few times when owners(?) have been showing the site to others, taking photos, etc.

So I still have my hopes up that this place gets finished reasonably soon, though I expect it'll be a heck of a delay.....
