U of T has to go vertical or incur the great expense of expanding the campus beyond its current boundaries. They'll probably only protect a small number of view corridors going forward, if any.

Yeah, and they've featured this building in all their secondary plan renderings. With a couple glaring exceptions, I'm pretty happy with U of T's recent-ish builds on their St. George campus, and the secondary plan looks fantastic.
