That is what describes their Urban Toronto presence. Are their current projects worth looking at? But remember, there is a @Tridelwebmaster. If you use profanity to describe their projects, he may report you. At the end of your post, this is what I would use when comparing TEN YORK to their average condo.

Sq, 10 York and Aquavista are significant improvements for Tridel with their curtain wall facades and aluminum composite spandrel panels. Sq is also a step up in design as well.

Huh? I assume you mean Aqualina, and that one is terrible; one of the worst projects in terms of cladding and general design in such a prominent location that I can think of in recent memory.

Sorry, Aqualina. I can't agree with you in terms of the cladding in the context of Tridel and even the rest of Toronto. It's Arquitectonica filth for sure. The Well is designed so it will boil to cladding and in particular the glass parts.

@Consilium, it has been a while since we've heard from @Tridelwebmaster. The first person to have that post has moved on, and we don't know if the current person in that position was passed the log-in info.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by profanity being reported, but 1) UrbanToronto has its own Rules of Conduct, and 2) @Tridelwebmaster would not have any sway in regard to how any breaches of the rules would be handled. That's taken care of by the UT Moderators and Administrators. You might want to read the rules here, if you haven't read them yet.

If you're really telling people "don't complain about Tridel projects", the situation for them is the same for any developer whose projects have thread on UrbanToronto: everyone is open to critique. We prefer intelligent discussion—posts which explain why a contributor likes or doesn't like something—but people are allowed to say what they want within the restrictions of the rules.

Finally, in earlier recent posts you cite the comments of two members and pretty much declare "this is the way UrbanToronto thinks". There will be more than two people who agree with the thoughts expressed, but that doesn't mean that UrbanToronto has rallied around any particular point: you may have just as many people agreeing with your POV. Who knows? We're here to discuss, and we rarely all agree about something.

All the buildings at The Well site along Front Street are now empty - The Globe & Mail building itself (444 Front Street West), the former Spin Master corporate head office (450 Front Street West) - notice on the door indicating relocation to 161 Bloor Street East, and the Toyota on Front service department at 462 Front Street West - all gone. There might be some residual tenants still in the 439 Wellington Street West building (the main entrance was still open - not chained shut like the buildings on Front street).
