Seems strange to me to leave a large parcel of land right by ETC empty, especially when considering that it wouldn't require you to cross the monstrosity that is Eglinton/Erin Mills Parkway to get to ETC.

Yes there is early work toward redeveloping/intensifying the mall property.

Are there preliminary plans accessible anywhere (like the City of Mississauga website)? I am so curious!
Part of me was fantasizing about pedestrian bridges to cross these thicc stroads and bring residents safely over to the mall.

No plans available yet. HBNG Holborn only purchased the mall last year so I’m sure the plans for redevelopment are still in the works.
