Toronto Sun Life Financial Tower & Harbour Plaza Residences | 236.51m | 67s | Menkes | Sweeny &Co

That first picture is great with the alignment of the office and residential buildings. Scan over quickly and you might think there was a mirror. Great spot to revisit once the Harbour Plaza buildings are complete.

Having only seen pictures of them since they really started to gain some height this past Xmas, I was struck by how much better they look in person when I was down there yesterday. In pictures I find the spandrel really sticks out and the balconies can look messy. But in person I find the balconies sharp, the spandrel hidden, and the towers really striking. They look awesome.

42 had a couple similar, but posting these as we rarely see progress from the SE looking NW. I know a lot of people rag on windowless podiums, but I don't mind it here; feels location-appropriate and I happen to like the finish (at the very least, it presents a somewhat different podium typology and I'm getting very bored of the currently prevailing typology). I also like how the PATH bridge design carries through, erm...unabridged (sorry).

The residential towers are beautiful! Might I say the balconies look even better than One Bloor. Mind you, there have been much more installed here so it's not really fair to compare between the two.

I know what you mean.
Very bold, dramatic, and well executed. These look fantastic.
