Very much liking the residential density with this townhouse row. Should be something we aspire towards in many of our residential downtown streets.

Window installations have started on the 4th floor and rough-in work for electrical and plumbing is on the 6th floor.

I don't think the metal paneling @ SQ is spandrel :)

Yeah, maybe. We're stretching the term these days in Toronto. I still like these sandwich panels as an alternative to the spandrel glass towers we're seeing from Tridel.

"Please note that on May 1st, 2016 we experienced an interruption to our scheduled construction work as a result of unionized trade negotiations. The majority of our trades have successfully completed new collective agreements; however a few have not (drywall and tile installers) and have gone on strike. At this time, the delay to the construction activity as a result of the strike is estimated to be approximately 45 days."

Gotta say I am not a fan of the wall of townhouses. Maybe when done they will pop more, plant some trees maybe. More colour/ contrast would do a lot of good here. Maybe its the angle of the cam but that the roof of the houses is just so monotonous.

Got to walk on the street to get a sense - it is probably going to be fine, esp. for an internal street.
