This is likely the same architectural model Solaris had in his March 18 post,..... but now it's set up at 91 Sheppard Ave East (just east of Yonge Street and Doris Ave) which seems to be Tridel's new (soon to be open) sales office for Scala which is about 4km away - this site was a former dental office but recently had the glass addition added to the front and knowing who the owner is and all the high-density developments happening in nearby NorthYorkSecondaryPlan area & Sheppard Corridor area,.... this presentation centre will likely host a number of different developments from different developers in the future,....

Townhome Demolition Complete at Scala
October 2017 Community Update

It has been a busy fall season on site at the Scala community. The existing townhomes have been completely demolished and our project management team is now focused on preparing the site for construction.

All of Scala’s required permits have been submitted to the City of Toronto, and while the City reviews the documentation, we have commenced work on the infrastructure and services that will support the Scala community and the neighbouring apartment and townhomes.

Construction of the new public road servicing this community and the infrastructure to develop water connections and the community’s sewage system started this fall. Work on these infrastructure systems will continue through the winter and once complete, we will be able to begin construction on the Scala tower shortly after. We are currently working towards a tentative construction start for the end of the first quarter in 2018.

January 2018 Community Update

We would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and update you on the progress of the Scala community.

We anticipate the start of construction to be this spring/summer as the City of Toronto continues to review the required permits for community.

Earthworks, providing municipal engineering services for the water and sewer systems, has completed approximately 50% of the prep work for the sewer system, and we expect installation to occur in late winter/early spring.
