Maybe the No Frills and the Costco (both within blocks) will now have a beer (and wine) department?

My understanding is that a lot of these beer store developments will have new beer store retail spaces in them upon completion.

During the construction phase, The Beer Store will have to move somewhere else.

Last time I was by, none of the retail spots at Qube immediately to the east (and as seen in the image above) had been taken. If they don't make good permanent spots for the Beer Store, maybe they could be acceptable temporary ones.

My 2017 wishlist includes hopefully a redevelopment of the Beer Store site at Dundas W & Lakeview.

Very few Beer Store customers use shopping carts to carry empties or full bottles of beer, especially not in the suburbs. A parking lot is needed for the customers to carry them.

There's a parking lot for No Frills to the east of Qube. Something could be worked out.

You'll be pleased to know that the beer store you mention was bought by a developer ;)

Good to see the Queensway start to improve. This will be a nice addition.

I like it. It looks pretty basic from the back, but from the Queensway frontage it looks interesting.

Hmmm I would have expected something a bit more interesting from urban capital.

This building is another step in the Queensway's evolution into a walkable mixed-use avenue. It's nondescript, but the materials appear to be good and should add visual interest.
