This is really frustrating to look at, because for a data centre this should be quite boring but it looks so smart. The frustrating part is that this is how the Canary District should have looked. The red tones are so warm and welcoming and look awesome even in a dreary winter's day vs. the awful and depressing grey they designed an entire neighbourhood around.

Funny how an irrelevant data centre can have better details than 95% of the buildings going up in the city.

Not so hot on the design itself (then again, it is a datacentre, but then again, look at this), but definitely agree on the choice of materials - just imagine if they've used that kind of terracotta at Southcore.

On the brighter side, a significant portion of WDL remains undeveloped - it isn't too late yet (though red brick might be better fit for the residential components of the district)

It would have been nice if the building beside the Canary Restaurant building would have been this colour, to match the building, (some matching red brick would have been nice) instead of grey. The condo is even named after the building, yet it does nothing to relate to it at all. I like the colour of this data centre.

I didn't want a data centre in this (future) prominent location but if we are going to have one, this is a good one to have. It's the best date centre I've seen. It's not going to provide much animation for the future public square but at least it looks good.

They wanted to build very fast to meet a client's needs and they build "as of right' so did not need to get permissions or zoning changes for more height or density. The approvals were very fast because of this and the building looks amazingly good.
