The restoration of St. Mary's Church has been spectacular--especially considering that it isn't a cathedral. Their parishioners must be a generous group.

I'm amazed at the duration of the restoration period. New work has commence at many of the side entrances. Someone could probably do a story on the restoration phases.

I think this looks excellent.

It is actually very impressive. The form follows a simple set of rules which aren't undermined by poor material quality. Compare the random, varied form to the podium of Studio on Richmond, it's night and day.

The podium isn't something we haven't seen before, but I'm still a fan. Love the depth to it. The tower portion is not really working for me. I can't get past those columns. Ruins the effect.

There's an incredible amount of density going in around King and Bathurst. 255 units in this building, 437 in Musée, 408 in Thompson... plus another 236 already in SIX50. That's 1164 units since 2013. I predict the Adelaide cycle track is going to see a nice bump in usage once people start moving in here.

The same could be said about the King streetcar.
Yep, but it's almost like it won't make a difference: by the time the eastbound car gets to Bathrust it's stuffed to the gills. There won't be more people getting on, but rather just more people waiting even longer for an available car.

*Edit: in other news, I gotta get down there and check this block out. It looks amazingly filled in. I imagine it feels really different down there now on foot level.
