Here we go again. It has just been reported that Humber College has bought 3246 Lake Shore Blvd. West. This is a non-corner property in the block between 22nd and 24th Streets, on the north side of Lake Shore. It's a couple of blocks west of three purchases which they had made earlier (discussed above in this thread). The property is not large (only 86 feet wide). The present occupant is Wildside Motorcycles. I can't believe that it would be of much use to the College by itself, and I'd assume it will be consolidated with at least one other property, probably more.

This property lies a couple of blocks to the west of Humber's previous acquisitions on the north side of Lake Shore. I wonder if it is the College's long-term objective to gobble up several blocks around here, for a major expansion of their campus. On top of this, as previously mentioned by someone above, they still have a significant amount of vacant space on the south side of the street.

Anyone have any insight as to long-term plans here?

That second shot in the post above, the attached image, is actually of the Welcome Centre, another building on the Humber Campus now also under construction.
