LOL! Wow, Toronto's infamous "The Cheapening" has set a new high water mark, and unexpectedly right in the heart of downtown of all places. Disgusting.

Our only hope now is that this PILE will be largely obscured once that Yoga Tree building goes highrise.

Kinda reminds me of shopping at King Textiles in the '90s: gaudy overpriced crap?

Always amusing with your hyperbolic reaction. You know how many EIFS paneled buildings there are downtown? You can't tell the difference between it and precast. It's everywhere too. This whole cheapening is in part to how antiquated our as of right zoning is and how accessible the rezoning process is in Toronto to the public. Good luck finding out about any land use changes just about anywhere else.

Unfortunately there is not enough room on that lot to have both a high-rise and the necessary clearances between buildings. Yoga Tree stays as-is.

It seems too big for its location. Maybe it will be different once surrounding buildings get updated.

From yesterday, the view from Public Work's studio…

And the view east on Richmond. This is not exactly a great vista termination down Richmond from Peter.

The building that Yogatree is in needs to be redeveloped, stat.
