I'd completely forgotten until having another look at the database entry just now that there are multiple retail units coming at-grade here, which is obviously great. This stretch has been a hot mess for years, so it'll be super nice when this and 1Thousand Bay are all wrapped up and have retailers at their bases.

That puts The Britt to a tie with the Caddilac Fairview Tower at spot 165.

While it remains to be seen how the tower cladding will turn out, I'd say the new podium is definitely much better than what it used to be.

It is better, though the fact that the second and third floors don't line up with the podium of the condo next door betrays the apparent sophistication of the natural stone cladding.
