While @Paclo deserves thanks for bringing this abomination to our attention, it's still an abomination. Over-bearing for the area, and just plain ugly.

1) The shoreline should be entirely publicly owned space and much larger than the combined park/pops space shown here.

2) The streetwall here should not exceed 3 storeys and any additional height should be set back, maximium views of the Lake should be preserved.

3) The cladding on the streetwall looks like cheap aluminum siding done vertically all in prison grey with an articulation of useless inset balconies and small windows that completely betray what should be a scenic location.
 
I don't mind the design. If this parcel is going to be built out, the height seems fine and metal cladding, when done well, can be nice as well.

However, 100% on board that the shoreline should have a much larger public space buffer, in public ownership.
