They're really moving quickly here, it's quite the sight to behold. I've always found this corner to feel odd. Bay Street is such a canyon, but it's never really felt like a part of the city that I want to spend time in. I know Yonge Street is the political boundary of east and west in the city, but to me it's always been Bay Street. I think this tower will probably contribute to that feeling all the more. That said, I am happy to see a surface lot go.

Taken today. In a fantasy land I would love to see negotiations through the two properties to make a new PATH connection from 33 Gerrard down to Bay St. What 43 Gerrard could have is a temporary wall ready for connection whenever its neighbour is ready for connection. However, the floor plan would most likely be altered in the basement level for that to happen.

There is no below-ground commercial in 43 Gerrard. At the east end, there's a mezzanine of which the vast majority is bike storage, while a sloping P1 takes up the rest of the first basement level. So, no PATH here ever.

Thanks for the clarification. Realistically I figured as much.

Sweet. I'm excited for this one. With it complete, I believe the only three lots left on Bay will the one directly across from the ACC, the one on the s/w corner of Lake Shore and Bay, and then the one, which was recently met with a proposal, directly north of the bus station.
