Toronto 383 Sorauren Avenue | 33.83m | 10s | Gairloch | a—A

The details on this are stunning, and so far for me will be one of the best buildings of 2016. I wish aA would do more work along these lines.

Why can't we use more bricks for more of the towers instead of all these glass clones we have around...

Because developers don't want to make $$$ when they can make $$$$$ by using extensive window-wall glazing. It's a much cheaper system than masonry veneer or other systems.

The brick pattern in the balcony glass frit is witty and unexpected, it's too bad it wasn't done to the same dimensions and proportions to the actual brick walls, but otherwise this is a very fine building overall.
I always like the combination of red brick and black window frames/mullions -- timeless and sharp looking.

Thank you!

I am stunned at bottom freezer ! wow... Are they white too.

I guess early next year then for higher floors
Yes to next year for the higher floors

@Marcanadian and I went up to the top floor terraces this past evening of 383 Sorauren to get some pics of the Supermoon over the skyline. The clouds made that a little difficult, but the views were fun nevertheless!
