I agree. Those three old but commonplace houses on a downtown arterial should of been preserved and the tower built on some greenfield in North Brampton. No demolition required.

Urbantoronto would be a much better place if the sanctimoniousness was put to bed.
 
The warehouse building next door is to go as well eventually.

The Victorians across the street have their days numbered as well.

This sarcastic comment completely misses the point. If you rub out every remaining charming corner of the city to make way for glass and concrete canyons, the city will become inhospitable and people WILL want to move out to a greenfield in Brampton.

Mastro, you have an odd idea of how things operate in this city if you think development has to be approached from those two polar opposites.
