Hint of an office building in the background?
Naaa!!! just either Capital or Park condo. Office building in the so call downtown that taller than 25s over by city hall, not on the radar anytime soon.

Look directly above the SportChek sign - too square to be a condo and it's directly over the mall.

They should replace those Traffic Signals by the Bus Terminal and Target. They look outdated. And if they do they should better design the poles with it like at Yonge Street in Downtown Toronto to fit to their design/theme

Does anyone have any insider hint/ideas as to what is going to happen to where the movie theatre was or what is going to be replacing Target?

They should really start work on the movie theatre so that whatever they do have planned can be finished around the same time as Simons and Holts.

I'm been very curious about what's happening where the movie theatre was as well. And now doubly curious what's going to happen where Target was. Those are two large spaces, on top of the currently under construction expansion. How are they going to lease it all?

The most recent update of the leasing plan on Oxford's site doesn't even show the SW expansion, whereas the official website does. Odd.

The south extension lost its #3 tower cranes last week over by Hudson's Bay and maybe loosing #4 in the mall tonight.

The crane was setup on the west side of Old Navy store with its boom laying over the driveway into the parking lot that was close by the old theater. The covering for the roof for the tower crane in the Mall was gone. Because of the extra stick for the boom, it possible various pieces roof equipment could be place in place of the tower crane. Not much work remains for the other 2 cranes and they could be down by the end of the month.

Only small pieces of steel to be install along the south edge as well beside Hudson's, otherwise waiting to be enclose.

The hording has been removed around Simons with standard fencing in its place.

Target closed their store ahead of schedule as there was next to nothing there Thursday.

The south parking lot has been close for sometime with asphalt being removed today.

I guess, Oxford gone back to the board to look at how to rebuild the empty Target, the Movie theatre and the missing stores by the food court and will come the next phase of expansion.

Tower 4 Crane has been removed from the Mall alone with the steel trusses for the court area.

You have a higher ceiling now, but it still does nothing for the area. If they had put in skylights as well adding more natural light, it would help the area.

With the exception of some missing steel beams, the steel work is complete and time to enclosed the extension. Roof is going on for the high roof area.

They have dug up the south parking lot as well the drop off & pickup area on the north side.
